About us
OUr intent
We’re drawn to documenting weddings because they mark the beginning of a new era - a reflection of every choice, and moment that led you here. There’s something incredibly meaningful about bringing all of the people you love together to celebrate a milestone that will continue to shape the rest of your lives together. We approach weddings with sincerity and intention, capturing the atmosphere, emotion, and in-between moments in a way that feels honest to your story

I have spent most of my adult life trying to figure out what it means to be a well rounded person. As a former athlete I had never known what a life outside of sports would look like for me. That is pretty much the story of my 20’s. Through that I picked up so many hobbies and interest along the way. I love movies (my most authentic self can be seen on my letterboxd profile) cooking, golf, card magic and clothes (although Lyss would say most of my wardrobe consist of basketball shorts and hoodies) My passion is coaching basketball, it keeps me grounded in who I am, who I have always been, and I think is the foundation for making me a better husband, friend and business owner.
I never envisioned a career in the wedding industry. When I shot my first wedding in 2017 it seemed like a one off thing, but over time it kind of snowballed and here I am 8 years later with 100+ weddings under my belt. Each year has seemed to throw something new at me, there have been times that felt like we were on the mountain top and it would never end and others where I considered stopping altogether. But here in 2026 I feel like 26&M is as strong as it has ever been and I have never been more motivated to continue my life of shooting and telling stories for couples.

If you’d told me 10 years ago that I’d be helping run a wedding photography and videography business with my husband, I probably would have laughed. My heart has always been in medicine and helping people, which is why I became a nurse and planned to stick with my career in healthcare. But, as life often does, it had different plans. In 2020, Stephen causally asked me to second-shoot as a videographer for a small wedding he was doing. Having never picked up a camera (besides my trusty purple Nikon Coolpix from 2009), I thought he was honestly crazy. But in hindsight, I now realize it was his sneaky way of getting to spend more time with me while we were dating!
Thankfully, I couldn’t resist him, and here we are—five years later, doing what we love together. All that to say, I truly ADORE documenting weddings. I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve thought to myself and even said out loud how cool this is to be able to do for a living. We have met so many wonderful people, traveled all over the country, and have gotten to experience the joy of wedding day over and over.
On my “off” days, you’ll find me back at the hospital as nurse, engaging in house projects, watching movies with Stephen (popcorn and cookie dough bites are a must for a true cinematic experience), or just spending time with our family and friends. I could chat for days but if you’ve made it this far, just know how grateful we are that you are here.
